Become A Puppy Raiser At SDWR

At SDWR, part of what makes our process so special is the way each puppy is raised in a home environement. SDWR puppy raisers take in a 6-8 week old puppy and teach them the basics of dog etiquette for 6 months. This valuable time allows you to enjoy all the fun of these fluffy puppies while also giving a family with an invisible disability the gift of independence. There is no in depth training required of you, all we ask is that you socialize the puppy and potty train and give tons of love. For more details you can read our Puppy Raiser FAQ here: www.sdwr.org/puppy-raiser-program/puppy-raiser-faq/
