Located in Culpeper, Virginia, SDWR’s Service Dog Facilities lay in the heart of a beautiful and verdant landscape. With over 250 acres available, our abundant space fosters enough play and fun for our pups to grow into healthy service dogs. It also allows variety in training surroundings to bring up more focused and flexible service dogs for Diabetes, Autism, PTSD and Seizure disorders. Because our dogs undergo months of obedience training on the farm, we believe ample space is essential for maintaining good physical and mental health.
Our Service Dog Facilities also cater to our trainers, helping to ensure they have plenty of resources and space needed to effectively train our dogs. A great environment is fundamental to meeting our rigorous training standards. With exceptional surroundings, we are able to fulfill our mission as service dog providers. We find that our diverse and well-equipped facility allows our team to transform small labrador and golden retriever puppies into life savers.
Each SDWR service dog is hand raised in our puppy program and trained here at the facility before being placed in their prospective home. Our large space and expert staff ensure that SDWR service dogs are each tailored to fit any unique family’s needs. That’s why we are able to provide service dogs that are comfortable in any environment, prepared for any situation, and well-suited for families of any size.
