Located in Culpeper, Virginia, SDWR’s Service Dog Facilities lay in the heart of a beautiful and verdant landscape. With over 250 acres available, our abundant space fosters enough play and fun for our pups to grow into healthy service dogs. By the age of 4 months, all our service dogs in training are placed in home environments with volunteers to better prepare them for service dog life.
Our Service Dog Facilities also cater to our trainers, helping to ensure they have plenty of resources and space needed to effectively train our dogs. A great environment is fundamental to meeting our rigorous training standards. With exceptional surroundings, we are able to fulfill our mission as service dog providers. We find that our diverse and well-equipped facility allows our team to transform small labrador and golden retriever puppies into life savers.
Each SDWR service dog is hand raised in our puppy program within individual homes before being placed in their prospective home.
